Yes, Jhaal Farezi is ready to bring your Puja meals that are as unique as the décor and the feel of this place. When I was invited to join my blogger friends from Panch Phorom to the menu launch, I was honestly wondering how their menu would be different from the rest of the Bengali menus. But, once I looked at the menu, I was totally astounded! Amid the traditional names like Gobindo Bhog Chaler Bhaat and Bhapa Parse, appeared names of dishes with a twist, fusing Bengali and western cuisines.
Take for example the Quesadilla stuffed with Shapla and Narkol. In this, the Mexican delight, Quesadilla, has been twisted to suit our taste and mood with the goodness of the Bangali combo, Shapla and Narkol. Char grilled Moong Daal Steak with Gandharaj infused Basanti Gravy, Shor Bhaja Tiramisu, Warm Chana Poda Cake… the spread is surprising and yet, maintains the Bangali spirit.
Take your pick from the items on the Durga Puja Menu of Jhaal Farezi:
1) Quesadilla stuffed with Shapla and Narkol.
2) Miniature of Makuni topped with Mochar Ghonto.
3) Murgir Ghoti Kebab.
