Nestlé… A name that’s universally associated with the food we depend on every day. From the first cup of Nescafe coffee in the morning to the indulgent Milky Bar, from the thick and tasty ketchup that we have to invite out of the bottle to our beloved bowl of Maggi – it’s all from the house of Nestlé. And as a brand that’s dedicated to good food, it celebrated International Chef Day in a way that’s nothing but perfect.

As part of their commitment to Nutrition, Health and Wellness, Nestlé India organised a wonderful workshop spread the awareness among children and adolescents from various communities, about organic food, balanced diet, active, lifestyle, and home-cooked dishes from fruit salads and yoghurt smoothies mixed-veg poha and spinach parantha. It was done through various fun games, interactive quizzes, creative activities, etc. And it was all done in the spirit of International Chef Day 2017!

Moments from the Nestlé India Workshop:

The Nestlé Healthy Kids Programme has been conducted since 2009; today, this programme has spread to 18 states, and and the team is proud of the fact that it has successfully involved more than 200,000 young boys and girls in the process of teaching them the importance of nutrition to be able to lead healthier lives. As a food blogger, I get to attend various food events, most of them extremely creative and fun. But, this workshop was special, as it taught children of different levels of the society about the art and science of good food, and helped them realise that healthy, creative food is accessible.
