Parantha and Lassi Festival at Pind Punjabi Dhaba

The love affair between Punjabis and Lassi is known across the world. On the other hand, the tales of romance between the North Indians and Parantha are historical. And, as expected, the Bangali foodies, who are in an everlasting relationship with food in general, have their own versions of Parantha, in the form of meat-stuffed ‘Moglai Porota’ or the plain triangular Porota, served with Alur Dom, to be downed with a glass cooling Lassi. Now, to experience a whole new level of the love of Paranthas and Lassis, you can visit the Parantha and Lassi Festival at Pind Punjabi Dhaba!

My Verdict:

Firstly, I love the enthusiasm with which Pind Punjabi Dhaba has been trying to stand out. Be it their décor or their newest addition, i.e. parantha and lassi festival, they clearly want to make a mark. Their fervour to be unique has been particularly noticeable most recently. I have been there before with my blogger friends from Panch Phoron, and had found it a very interesting place. My visit to the festival was made particularly special by their warm welcome. As for the paranthas and lassis, I found the concept and the end results equally interesting! Don’t go there looking for a typical parantha or lassi, because you won’t get those. These are completely different, and a unique food experience. My suggestion? Go ahead and try for yourself! It’s on till the 24th of December, 2016.
